Upcoming events

Wednesday 20-May-2026 The Inverurie and District Men’s Shed Social Area will be open from 11.00am for anyone wanting to come along for a cup of tea, a blether or a game of cards.

Thursday 21-May-2026 At the Ashvale Restaurant, Inverurie, starting at 6:30pm, there will be a Bingo evening on behalf of IDMS. Chicken or fish meal followed by Bingo. Tickets costing £20 available from IDMS.

A new web site is being developed and members are encouraged to contribute short articles on latest news, events, projects and photographs about the Men’s Shed.

The web site and the Facebook pages will be regularly updated with this information.

Friendship and Sharing

Inverurie and District Men’s Shed (IDMS) is a space where men can come together to socialise, work on projects, and exchange skills. It provides a welcoming environment for men from diverse backgrounds and ages to collaborate on personal and community initiatives. It is a volunteer run charity where men, over 18, can meet, make things in the workshops and craft areas and share interests.
Unwind with a cup of tea or coffee in the social area, and contemplate various topics of the day, whether they are light hearted, humorous, technical, or focused on finding solutions.

Monday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
Thursday: 10:00am – 4:00pm
During winter months, on some Wednesdays, Soup and a chat and/or social activities such as card and board games may be available between 11:00am and 2:00pm.
